Capello Salon - Barbershop in Buffalo, New York

I highly recommend going to Liz K- she works at the transit RD and downtown locations. I'm 29 years old and I have been going to her for at least the last 20 years. She has done everything from coloring my hair hot pink and blonde when I was younger to doing my sisters hair for her wedding (i'm pretty sure my sister called Liz to make sure she was free before the priest lol), as well as teaching me how to keep my hair long and healthy.She is extremely adaptable in her styling as she works with my parents, brother, sister, and friends. She has a gift of making everyone happy when they leave despite age, hair length, male/female, etc. She does it all :)I love that she stays up up to date with trends by going to hair and makeup shows all the time and I love even more when she asks me if she can try something new she learned! (p.s. i would NEVER let anyone "try something new" on me besides Liz. ever.)....I made the mistake once of going to someone else while I was living in AZ - thanks GOD I came back soon after so Liz could correct the color (she is AMAZING with color!). Not only can i personally speak to her amazing ability to correct hair color, style, cut, color, and product knowledge, but she is truly a genuine nice person. I always enjoying catching up with her. She is essentially part of our family now.I now live in Nashville TN and make a special trip home to see her :)worth it.

I have been going to Marina on Main Street, Wmslv for years. She is fantastic and always does the greatest job with my hair, cut, color and highlights. I simply love her and would not go to anyone else!

This review is for the Transit Road location in Amherst. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Easy to make appointments. Clean and stylish atmosphere (although the large pillows on the sofas would benefit from sprucing up or even replacing). Staff is attentive to your requests during services. Love, love, love this salon.

I love going to Capello Salon and Day Spa. It never fails that at the end of my appointment not only do I look great but I feel a renewed feeling of self confidence. They say kids are the harshest critics but my son is always impressed with the way I look after each visit to Capello Salon. They are second to none in Western New York.

Superior service in a perfect atmosphere. Shawn, our stylist, is top notch. He quickly figures out the perfect style to make you look your best. Everything, from washing your hair to the styling process, is done to make you feel relaxed. The whole overall experience is like something out of Hollywood. The best part is getting all the compliments on how my hair looks.

Capello Salon is by far the best in WNY! They've been my number one salon for over 15 years. I've had my wedding updo there, waxing, cuts, and pedis! This is a wonderful place to visit and I highly recommend giving it a try.

I started going to Sean at Capello Salon 9 months ago. I absolutely love him. He is a terriffic stylist. I am always showing up with a picture of a new hairstyle, LOL, and he always gives me his honest opinion and I trust him emphatically. I am a breat cancer survivor of 3 years now. I previously had long, thick, curly, course, strawberry blonde (natural) hair. I never changed the style of my hair. After going through chemotherapy and losing all my hair, it grew back blonde and still curly. I now wear it shorter, get highlights, and I am always changing the style around, it's fun! Sean is always steering me in the right direction. He is personable, charming, and witty!

Just got my hair done at the new Capellos in the Avant building down town. It was the best hair experience ive ever had. Definitely go to this salon! It's the best!!!!!!!

best salon by far for great hair. Everyone is very well trained, and very professional. just because its not uptight and snotty doesnt mean they deserve a bad review. My stylist is super fun and i actually enjoy my time in the chair. funny how everyone wants to complain about the negative,but never praise them for their talent. i've actually witnessed some of the disater corrective colors that they've fixed from other salons. These people know hair. end of story.

Worst salon I've ever been to. My stylist was very distracted and working on two or three customers at the same time. Cost me a lot of money for horrible color and highlights. It made me really angry that my highlights were obviously messed up and he chose not to correct them. I could tell he knew when he took the foils off before he washed my hair because he paused, then just kept going.

I booked my bridal party of 6 the day before my wedding to get our nails done a week and a half prior to the appointment, and after I called a few hours before my appointment to make sure we were set, they realized that they had booked me for the day of my wedding and could not get us in. After saying all 3 of their locations were booked, they offered me a gift certificate for the next party I booked with them. Highly unprofessional, and I will NEVER go back. Save yourself the time and stress and go elsewhere.

Capello is terrible except for Becky. She is fantastic, sweet, and an excellent hair dresser. Go to Becky at the Amherst location and you will not regret it. Go to anyone else and you will have a terrible unprofessional experience.

Beautiful Salon in the historic village of Williamsville. Excellent staff and Exceptional Service. I had my hair color, cut and highlighted on my first visit. The girl that did my hair was telling me that the staff there continuously train in classes across the country. I was impressed with her knowledge and techniques. I was very happy and would highly reccommend.
