Called and was fit in immediately. Was greeted by a wonderful receptionist. Had a terrific shampoo . Loved my hair . Sooz is my new salon

I was looking for a new salon, after returning to ROC. from New York. I spoke with both owners via seperate phone conversations. Regarding my previous positive salon experience with The John Barrett Salon on Fifth Avenue, in New York, N.Y. John Barrett Salon became an exclusive member of LSW The Leading Salons of the World, in 2012. Being the professionals they are,The John Barrett Salon put together concise correspondence for me to share with a salon in ROC. Needless to say, despite said concise information, and discussion that I wanted my hair cut style, and color to remain the same, I was quickly yet in a cocky manner assured by one owner it's fine, it was a disaster. My cut, & color were VERY different, & I had photos taken two days prior at an event, along with actual hair samples from my last appt., at The John Barrett Salon! I expressed my concern, & the owner was haughty, rude along with trying to back pedal out of it. I was given a 2nd appt. with the other owner for a corrective service, which the results of were identical to my 1st appt. Needless to say, BOTH women (owners) in my opinion are incompetent, in business to make money only, vs. repeat customers. Needless to say, I flew back to New York, & in one visit my color was corrected, & my cut was revived. Be aware anyone can talk the talk, but can they really walk the walk, or in this case give you a truly professional cut, color, & style?
