If I am in Manhattan I always make a special trip to Prestige Hair Salon in NYC on East 53rd. Even if I am not due for a haircut I will go for a light trim to keep up my appearance. I have never had a men's haircut as good as I get here. I can't wait to go back.

I was glad to find a real men's haircut place that was open on Sunday. Prestige Hair Salon is the best place for a haircut. Located on 55th in midtown east, they are real barbers, not clipper cut people. When you go there you leave feeling completely refreshed. I look forward to my next trip.

The team at Prestige Hair Salon in Midtown Manhattan is absolutely brilliant hairstylists! I have been to so manysalons in NYC and I have never had the amazing experience I had at Prestige. Every time I walk in the door I am recognized and welcomed immediately. They all have such a great attitude, (and patient!).To watch their work is like watching an artist. Oksana who did my haircut took such care and explained everything so well. She used excellent natural products (I bought some). And the result was nothing less than miraculous! My hair now is beautiful and healthy and I have had so many compliments that my cheeks may be permanently red from blushing! What more can I say - I will never go to another hair salon - I'm hooked! If someone asked me to recommend them a salon, without hesitation I would say Prestige Hair Salon in Midtown, NYC. Within the past 3 months, I've gone in twice. The first being a color and cut and the second being a root touch up and bang trim. Both times, I made an appointment with Yelena. And let me tell you. That girl is AMAZING. I'm almost slightly hesitant to write this updated review and mentioning her! I don't want my appointments to get any harder to book! Just kidding. When discussing coloring and haircut, she really listens to you and also gives you recommendations that turn the hard topic of choosing how many inches to cut off and what shade of what color into girl talk. I love her! She makes the salon trip a real treat. Yelena helped me go from my long, past my waist length,hair to shoulder length and I have never looked back. If I could give a higher rating, I would. Prestiges prices are not too bad either! But, for the quality you get, it's worth it.

It's been a long time since I felt completely happy when I left a hair salon! I've always dreaded going back to ahairdresser but Prestige Hair Salon of Midtown NYC changed my attitude completely! It is a very nice family business and all the staff is very friendly. My hairdresser Irina was wonderful! The best part is that she really listened to me and made sure she know exactly what I wanted. And WOW, I got my hair cut exactly what I asked for. The price range for a haircut is ideal for me for hair salon in Manhattan. I am definitely going back to Irina for a hair cut in a few months and I'm actually quite excited!

I have long, thick hair. I can't find a good stylist in town. And I don't easily trust stylists to handle my hair. Until a friend highly suggested Prestige Hair Salon Midtown NYC. I gave them a try and I was totally pleased. The stylist patiently discussed with me what I really want and she gave some suggestions. The end result was terrific. I never looked this good! She's got taste! I totally trust her.

I went to Prestige Hair Salon of Midtown NYC 5 times already. And I would just like to say when I go there I feel like for this time I am some Hollywood star. Everyone there are very exceptionally nice and courteous, and very attentive. But I would like to give very special thanks to a professional stylist Maya who has always done my haircut and hair coloring. After visiting this place my husband always says that I look like a movie star. He also visits Prestige for his haircuts almost every month because he likes his hair to be neat and short.
