Hair Extraordinaire has been in business for well over 35 years. It began in the early 1970's as a traditional barber shop and evolved into a family oriented Aveda Concept Salon. Hair Extraordinaire is a unique salon experience. All of its employees were born and raised in the area. Most started their career at the salon as a part-time shampoo assistant leading them to a top stylist position, including the current owner. Collectively they share over 100 years of experience!

I have been going to Hair Extraordinaire for over 15 years, along with my entire family and friends who need a good stylist. I've never seen another salon like this one, where the staff has been working together for so long they are like a tight knit family. Not only does the entire staff speak english, but they actually listen to what you want and give you what you ask for! An amazing experience anytime, but especially in this day and age. I have moved away from the Falls Church area (about 4 hours away) but I still make regular trips back to get my hair done by professionals who know what they are doing. Do yourself a favor, call Hair Extraordinaire and make an appointment with one of their wonderful stylists. You will NOT be disappointed! I can't say enough wonderful things about them!
The staff is amazing. Personalized service, must have products - knowledge, experience and talent abound!!
