Barclay's Salon - Barbershop in Everett, Washington

I have had my hair cut and colored by 4 different stylists at Barclays. 3 of the stylists were great to work with and are the reason I've continued going. However, one time my regular stylist was not available and I saw a different gal. I have to say, that was the most expensive hair cut/color I have ever had! I have short hair and it was $175. I requested the stylist do only a partial foil and she foiled my entire head. About a week later my hair started breaking! One side is completely broken and there is no haircut that will fix the damage. I am most upset that I was growing my hair out when this happened. My regular gal does NOT charge me that much for her services and does a great job.

Went on a referral which stated 50% off your first cut or color. I had a foil done which I guess is not a color (not sure what they color your hair with in a foil). Which by the way you don't pick a color from a swat they pick the color. Also had extra charges when I checked out which I didn't know were being added. Which apparently if you don't ask they don't tell. The sylist was nice and appeared she knew what she was doing. Called the owner to ask about the 50% off and he said a foil is not a color and the coupon is for a regular color which they do not explain. He then proceeded to tell me that as a consumer I should know the difference between a color and a foil. He said that all consumer should know that. He acted like his salon is very high class and that they know what all the customer want and need. All I see is someone that thinks he's bigger than he really is. And the stylist was late for the appointment. I would not recommend going there.

Fantastic salon. All staff are professional and friendly. I have been going there for 6 years and have referred others adn they have not been disappointed!

This salon is like no other. They are great here and will tell you if they can or cannot do what you want done as some of us have mistreated our hair terribly and it needs to repair itself before we can have anything else done. I highly recommend Barclay's.

You will wait - They over book appointments. Although I like the cuts they are expensive! $285 cut, color tint. OUCH! I called the owner and told him we wouldn't be back because we waited 25 minutes - he didn't care. we won't go back.

I cut my hair in a grieving ceremony and went in to have it fixed. I told the stylist that I hated bobs and that I didn't want any length cut off. She cut off a lot of the length that was left and she cut my hair in a more severe bob than it already was. My hair looked much better before I went in. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

I made an appointment at this shop based on the previous review. I arrived a few minutes prior to my appointment time only to wait 15 minutes past my appointment and then be told the operator wouldn't perm my color treated hair. Had I been told this the previous day when I made the appointment I would have had time to find another salon.

I thought we had a great deal at our previous salon. We left because our stylist left. But Barclay's is FANTASTIC! My daughter and I had cut and styles done and a week later my daughter went for highlights. They were fast and very efficient. The best highlights she has ever had done. I will continue going to this great salon.
