Act I Hair Design - Barbershop in Richmond, Virginia

The first time I peeked into Act I Hair Design on Forest Hill Ave around 25 years ago I was in my early 30s and was a little dubious and worried that I'd come out with a towering beehive or a bunch of little blue ringlets. Then I met Marion who immediately put me at ease. I was tired of the chain chop shops where no one listened to me. Inspite of the fact that I had no idea what I wanted Marion talked to me for a long time and we came up with a style and color that was flattering to my face and suited my age. So 25 years later I can not imagine having anyone else cut, style and color my hair. I've had a few changes in style over the years & I've been happy with then all. I've gotten to know many of the regular clients and they all seem as satisfied as I am. Like Marion, the other stylist listen careful to their clients and all have the skill to make magic happen. The prices are very reasonable. I've never had a cut I wasn't delighted with.
